The Burdekin Sugar Rush is the signature running event for the Burdekin Road Runners and Walkers Club.
The club welcomes men and women of all ages who are dedicated to their health and fitness - from
serious runners to social runners and walkers.
The Burdekin Road Runners and Walkers Club was first established in 2001 for people who enjoyed walking and running. Members can walk or run together with friends and take advantage of the many benefits of exercising with friends. Presently, the club has a membership of 50 plus and holds a weekly scheduled Saturday morning run and a number of extra events throughout the year.
